Core Tools for the Automotive Industry

AIAG’s Core Tools are a set of tools used in the automotive industry, which were jointly developed by OEM’s such as Chrysler, Ford and General Motors to design, develop, prevent, monitor/measure, control, document, analyze and approve quality products and services to meet customer needs and expectations. These tools can be applied within the scope of the IATF 16949:2016 benchmark, and are sometimes an integral part of customer-specific requirements, supporting the effective implementation of the automotive regulatory benchmark – IATF 16949:2016.
