On July 17, the Drivolution Project—one of the Mobilizing Agendas supported by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR)—had the honor of receiving a visit from Dr. Pedro Dominguinhos, President of the PRR National Monitoring Committee, for a working day focused on sharing the consortium’s results, best practices, and challenges.
The visit included tours of the facilities of FORVIA and Borgstena, two strategic partners of the consortium, where some of the most innovative developments within the Drivolution agenda were presented, focusing on digital transition, sustainability, and new mobility solutions, culminating in the transition to the Factory of the Future.
This moment highlighted the importance of collaboration between companies, research and development centers, and public entities, in a joint effort to accelerate the transformation of the Portuguese automotive industry and strengthen its competitiveness at European and global level.
The meeting also allowed for open and constructive dialogue on the impact of the PRR on the sector, promoting strategic alignment between the different players in the ecosystem.
