SCAIRA holds fourth face-to-face consortium meeting in Rochefort, France

On July 1 and 2, the fourth face-to-face meeting of the SCAIRA consortium took place in Rochefort, France. SCAIRA is a European project that aims to boost industrial innovation, ecological transition, and entrepreneurship in the SUDOE area. The meeting took place at Technopôle Rochefort Océan, a business acceleration center managed by the Communauté d’Agglomération Rochefort Océan (CARO), a partner and host of the event.

The meeting brought together representatives from the twelve entities that make up the SCAIRA consortium and focused on two main areas: the development of the first acceleration program and the analysis of the closure of the project’s second call for proposals.

Day 1: Training session and technical visit

The first day kicked off with a welcome from the host organization and included a training session led by Michael Turbe, representative of the consulting firm La Business Kitchen. The session provided valuable external contributions on supporting entrepreneurship and startup creation, addressing topics such as business models, fundraising, scalability, and market expansion. This content will be integrated into the acceleration program being developed as part of the project.

The trip culminated in a guided tour of the facilities of Airbus Atlantic, also a partner in the project, and a walk across the iconic Rochefort transporter bridge, an engineering masterpiece completed in 1900.

Day 2: Monitoring and planning

The second day was entirely devoted to monitoring the progress of the project. The partners evaluated the implementation of the first acceleration program, which currently has four participants selected in the first call for applications.

The results of the second call for applications were also reviewed, the deadline for which was recently extended to facilitate participation. At the same time, the preliminary schedule for the third and final call for proposals for the SCAIRA project began to take shape.

The meeting ended with a technical session dedicated to administrative and financial issues between the partners.

MOBINOV, as an active partner in the SCAIRA consortium, reinforces its commitment to promoting innovation and collaboration in the region’s industrial and mobilizing sector.
