MOBINOV – Automotive and Mobility Cluster Association participated in the second edition of the Portugal Export Summit, which took place this week at the Cruise Terminal of the Port of Leixões. The event, promoted by AEP – Associação Empresarial de Portugal (Portuguese Business Association) and Novo Banco, with the support of APDL, Coface, and Expresso, brought together public and private entities with the aim of discussing strategies to achieve the goal of 60% of exports in GDP by 2030.
MOBINOV was represented by its President, Miguel Pinto, who reinforced the association’s commitment to competitiveness, innovation, and internationalization in the national automotive sector. During the conference, the main challenges affecting Portuguese exports were analyzed, namely the unstable geopolitical context, excessive European regulation, and the need to overcome internal constraints such as bureaucracy.
Despite the challenges, the event highlighted positive signs of economic growth and emphasized the importance of preparing Portuguese companies to expand into new markets with greater added value. MOBINOV will continue to work actively to position Portugal as a global benchmark in the mobility sector.
